Hi, can any one tell me in what area of the UK the club raffle bike is kept as a local show organiser (Elk Promotions) as asked if it could be displayed at one of their shows in the south. Regards Basil.

Speak to Mike Kilvert, Bryan Price or Pete Wilson. Iain who owned the bike was in Preston, and Mike is Wales so I would guess it’s somewhere between the two.

Current bikes......1958 D5, a 77 Suzuki GT250 and a B175 almost ready for the road and a 76 Honda C90 in the workshop. A 1980 Honda CB400N now on the road and my everyday ride is a 2011 Harley Davidson Sportster. All bikes (except the D5) are now for sale...

Can Joe/Jo Public enter this raffle from the comfort of their own home...and if so, would someone be kind enough to provide link details please?

Cheers

I think they will be sending out raffle tickets with the March issue of the Banter. Tickets will also be on sale at the Major shows the clubs attends and probably direct from Mike Kilvert. Send a message to Pete Wilson the club secretary, Im sure he would be able to help you. I am surprised there isn't a page on the this website to buy them from actually.

Hello Blue - apologies for delay in replying: I've only just spotted this thread!

To confirm what Steve has said: Raffle tickets will indeed be going out to Club members with their March edition of the Bantam Banter magazine. Tickets are also on sale at the major 'national level' shows on the circuit (eg: Shepton Mallet; Telford; Stafford; Founders Day; Annual Rally; etc) when the prize Bantam will also be on display. The bike (and tickets) are available for any Area Rep or group that wants to display/advertise the bike and/or the Raffle. For instance - the bike was taken to the Newark Show in January, and put on the Club stand that was set up by the Lincolnshire group (their first show, and a great success).

Raffle tickets are also available to any other Bantam enthusiasts. Contact the Promoter, Mike Kilvert, on 01686 610089 or email Mike at ** Please log in to view **. Folks can pay by PayPal, BACS or cheque - and Mike can give details.

Basil - this should also answer your question. Contact Mike to discuss putting the Raffle bike onto your Club stand at an Elk Promotions event (or others).

regards, Bryan
