Hi,

I started the Stilton Bike Show when I was Chairman of the Peterborough Branch of the Triumph Owners Club. That was five years ago this coming Sunday. To date numbers have slowly grown but somewhere between 500 and 700 bikes will ride into Stilton over the show day, making this a village bike show not to be missed.

So, we will be mustering THIS COMING SUNDAY to ride to Show, we will ONLY be going via the B roads and crossing over to Stilton via the flyover on the A1. So, no busy roads at all.

Show starts at 11am so we will be leaving the Cross Keys Pub at 10.45 prompt. I will be at the cross keys from around 10.15

As ever this is an all bike invite. Due to the on-street parking at the bike show I would advise people carry a bike lock, ideally one that goes through the wheel.

Upon arrival you may be directed to park on the actual show field at the back of the pub.  I would advise against this should you merely want to take a look at the stalls and get a reasonable departure. The High Street in Stilton is wide with plenty of parking so its perhaps best to ride past the event Marshalls and park in the high street.

We will be pack riding at the slowest pace, and once your ready to leave the show then it’s a simple case of making your own way home. It’s a small village bike show with the TOMCC donating a percentage of the profits to charity. Entrance is free, and the ladies of the club will have baked cakes etc.

Burgers etc. Will be sold by the pub on the event field.

Hope to see a few of you at Upwood this coming Sunday morning for a ride to Stilton.

Kind Regards

Dave.
