just made a new clutch arm as back hurts fined it hard 2 go under bike 2 conext cable so now its on top longer arm so pulls in so easy put small sprocket on 20160813_091216.jpg 20160813_095139.jpg 20160813_095154-1.jpg

Hi John

so the clutch cable nipple is fixed and the arm is pulled rearward by the adjuster attached to it? so how much longer is the arm, and can you get enough leverage at the handlebar? It looks a great way of doing it - especially with the bashplate in the way.

yes cable fixed at end just change it around lowerd cable nearer 2 case fixed cable 2 case arm about 60mm long were the return spring fits on the worm thing that points up is were welded new arm now i no it all works were i have a nut an bolt 4 fixing point will get alloy pice welled on 4 cable 20160814_131210.jpg

That's really neat Flintdog.  

The clutch alteration must be worth doing even on a road bike, does the longer arm make the clutch lighter in operation? And did you have to change the engine side cover at all?

no change 2 cases can pull leave with 1 finger got h/d springs in basket weld new arm on the worm thing were spring fits

Won't the leverage create excessive wear on the plunger bushes etc?

I'm not a complete idiot ............................................ some parts are missing.

cut frame 2 put rear on yesterday 2 make a 3 wheeler post office bantam well the the frame was a post office bike got v5 will have 2 change it
