I guess you could say this is already covered across several topics.I was thinking what are the common faults/things to look out for on different models.Over the last year of putting mine back on the road there are several faults that seem to have cropped up and it seems i aint the only one to have them.From my experience on a D14 I've had the following
Kickstart.Quadrant teeth worn and the pinion spring.
worn throttle slide.
Yellow wire on the alternator
4th gear jumping out
Dodgy headlamp springs
bent crank shafts/ends broken off/cracked
Buying the wrong sized kickstart shaft!
Leaky exhaust gaskets
Broken front spindle bolts(the ones that hold the spindle to the bottom of the forks)
Ill fitting fork bushes
You name it I seem to have had them all!
Any more you can think of and we can have a laugh about it 🙂
