So anybody who may race a bantam with a std type barrel.

After a rebore what cylinder to piston clearance would you aim for.

The new piston I bought recently gives a 3.5 inch thou clearance....I am wondering if you racing guys go tighter than this...not that I want to.

Hi bantammad ere as a matter of interest on piston fit 0.0015 per 1” of bore is ring fit The old yard stick, but with pistons that are available today not all Pistons supplies indicate or suggest there recommendations of running clearance due to the expansion rates are variable across piston manufacturers found that one out when l built a zeggar 500cc GP triple that was hitting around 126 bh  back in the early 80s have fun Could be interesting happy days Les
