I have one that I fitted to my D5. In the end I didn't like it so removed it, I think it was originally from a Honda. I had it all powdercoated before I fitted it. You would have to have a look at it to make sure it fit though. Pics here

Current bikes......1958 D5, a 75 Honda CD175 which is being MOT'd as we speak, a 79 Honda NC50 Express (wife's) and a 67 Raleigh Runabout. I have also a couple of Puch Maxi's being turned into one that works, and a 77 Suzuki GT250 waiting for a full rebuild. I have a 74 Kawasaki KH400 in the queue, along with a 78 Honda CB125S and a 1980 Honda CB400N, and I have just bought an 1982 Kawasaki Z250.

Hi Digby

Ive got a Honda Cub carrier which is actually a perfect fit - I've just offered it up to my B175 as quickly pictured. Would bolt to the rear shock top mounts and you woul need to drill a couple of holes in the rear mudguard for the supports. Happy to post it to you for £20/18921926_10155370949109817_1084485903600841285_n.jpg18835823_10155370949059817_7741950624982613959_n.jpg

Don't mean to be a rivet counter here, but your number plate looks wrong somehow, never seen a Bantam where it looks like you could get your arm through the gap between it and mudguard.

I don't know the D5 well though, so it could be me.

Three on the road and at least several in bits.

Well the rear light bracket is a fairly standard item, and has fixed points to attach it to the mudguard. The mudguard has pre-drilled holes in it to attach the light unit to it. I don't really see how it could be anything other than what it is, given of course, that the mudguard and the light fitting are originally from a D5. I know the rear light itself is of a later design, but I fitted that as I preferred the look of it.

You made me wonder though, so I googles a few images of the D5, and it looks right to me. Mind you, I'm no expert. (on anything, not just Bantams)

Dont know how much you are prepared to pay but a new stainless steel for a D10/14 should also fit a D7 I would have thought

Thanks fellas,bidding on EBay rack,

the stainless ones got some poor comments a while ago and were sent back as they didn't fit,so I'll give them a miss.

Just to be clear everyone - that's what a genuine BSA rack looks like. Everything else is either adapted from something else, universal or a modern remake. 57-1.JPG4.png

thats not completely true
the rack you have shown is for a Bushman the rack BSA sold for the roadsters is below, but it was not as good and more expensive then the Craven which most people fitted, as did I in 1972
