Got my first bike in 1970 at 13 years old which was a D7. this was followed by a number of D1's until I acquired a Greeves MCS 250 which I still have to this day. I ride daily/commute all year round on a BMW R1200GS and have a collection of classic bikes, one of which is a B175 in excellent unrestored condition. Unfortunately it never gets used, just 'looked at'.

Welcome to the forum, perhaps the people here can inspire you to get out on the B175? Just for short trips? They do attract a lot of attention when you take them out.

Current bikes......1958 D5, and a 77 Suzuki GT250 being rebuilt. I have a 74 Kawasaki KH400 in the queue, along with a 58 Tiger Cub and a 1980 Honda CB400N. An American import 1978 Honda CB125S just registered and running.  I currently ride a 1998 Yamaha XV535 Virago, or a 2011 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster

Welcome Sherpa,no need for tensing on the lightweight Bantam...enjoy a break from lugging the BM around 😉

....or did I detect a pre-sale pitch? I`ve not owned a B175 yet,but hope to before too long....after I`ve sold one of my bikes perhaps.

Look forward to seeing some pics

Def a pre sales pitch, the bike is for sale on UKGSER 🙂 Looks nice, but I don't know enough about Bantams to make an informed comment. I am just at the stage of looking for one.

Haha,no flies on us eh!

Maybe OP`s in two minds?

Sold my Beemer in `81,so not going to join UKGSER....is the B175 advertised under "cheeky little 2-stroke"?
