A last longish ride of the year yesterday. A hundred and eight miles (there and back) in cold and gloomy weather to visit my friend Alan near Grantham. He'd cooked a lovely curry, though, so it was worth it ! It was my thirteenth three figure day out of the year so well done to the Red 'un.

Well done, Ken. Not afraid to use your Bantam.

Have you kept a log of your mileage/trips for this year? Your mileage must be impressive.

Regards, Chris.

1951 Bantam D1 125, 1970 Bantam B175, 1995 Yamaha Diversion 900 and 2016 Honda Integra 750 scooter. Horses for courses, all very different to each other, but a bike for every occasion.

Hi Chris. As I said on Facebook I just need another decent ride to bring me up to four thousand miles in fourteen months on the Red 'un. I hope it warms up a bit so I can do it. 4000's not that much really, is it, but I'm pleased to have done it and enjoyed my year on the Bantam. I've only kept a note of my three figure rides. If only I could stop cycling twenty miles a time to work and back and do it on my Bantam I'd be getting a lot more miles in !!

I'm no hero Nick; but thanks, anyway.
