Just stripped the forks on the D5 (same as D1 & D3) and found the spacer (90-5068) between the bushes in three pieces - deliberately cut !!!!???
Both fork legs are the same with cut spacers. I can't for the life of me understand why someone would do that as the rather wobbly cuts would tend to put uneven pressure on the bushes.
I would like to get new ones but they don't seem to be available. Looks like I will end up making replacements myself - therefore - would anyone happen to know the overall length the spacer tubes should be?
Guess the length is not that critical, although making them the correct length will satisfy my inner perfectionist.
